Our Optometry Practice

Your Optometrist in Bellevue

Our optometry office is dedicated to improving, protecting and preserving our patients' eyesight.  Doctor Vernon Schlueter will thoroughly assess your eye health and vision at our clinic at the Bellevue Walmart Vision Center.  Our Bellevue optometrist and eye care team provide complete medical eye exams for ages 8 and up, routine and complicated contact lens fittings and medical treatments for eye diseases and certain traumas.

Following your exam, you will receive an explanation of our diagnosis, recommendations and a prescription, if needed, for eye glasses, contact lenses or follow-up care.

At the Bellevue Walmart Vision Center, we make no income from sales of eyeglasses or contact lenses, our only interests are your eye health and good vision.

Visit Doctor Vernon Schlueter, your eye doctor in Bellevue, for all you vision needs!

  • Advanced Technology To Monitor Your Eye Health

We have acquired the following modern equipment to evaluate your eye health:

    1. Digital Retinal Camera - our camera photographs the inside retinal tissue for current and future viewing. Photographic documentation helps the doctor keep a database of the appearance of your retina, progression of disease and it's ongoing management and control.

    2. Slit Lamp Camera - like the retinal camera that photographs the inside of your eye, our slit lamp camera photographs any abnormalities of the eyelids, cornea, conjunctiva, iris and lens of the eye.

    3.  GDx VCC - instrument using the latest retinal analysis technology to detect presence of glaucoma.

    4. Humphrey Matrix Visual Field - latest technology to assist in evaluating visual field defects caused by glaucoma or other neurological problems.
